Nueva Andalucía just got a (very tasty) Swedish twist: SPISA Foodmarket

Nueva Andalucía is already Marbella’s sweet spot—golf valley views to La Concha, beaches five minutes away, and every café full of Scandinavian chic. Now it’s added a proper Swedish supermarket-with-a-deli: SPISA Foodmarket at Centro Plaza (Av. Manolete, 1).

SPISA isn’t a token “lingonberry corner.” It’s a full Scandinavian grocery with a slick deli and a Sibylla grill for classic hot dogs and burgers—plus gravlax, shrimp salad, meatballs, and other comfort-food heroes. You can eat in, grab-and-go, or stock the fridge like a pro. They even run breakfast bits (think sandwiches, overnight oats, chia puddings) and do catering. Hours are a civilised 9–9, which—let’s be honest—beats sprinting to three shops for rye bread, pickled herring, and decent coffee.

If you want the vibe: big, bright, and social. There’s space to sit, sip something nice, and watch the mountain show. It fits the area’s growing Nordic crowd perfectly and doubles as an easy “after-viewings” pit stop if you’re house-hunting nearby. (Pro tip: grab deli dinner, skip cooking, and pretend you planned it.

Why it matters for locals & second-home owners

  • Convenience: central spot in Centro Plaza, steps from Puerto Banús.

  • Range: proper Scandinavian staples + fresh deli, not just novelty jars. Spisa Foodmarket

  • Community: it’s become a meet-point—very “Little Stockholm” in the best way.

Nuts & bolts

  • Where: Centro Plaza, Nueva Andalucía (Marbella).

  • When: Daily, 09:00–21:00.

  • Also: They’ve expanded along the coast (hello, Estepona). Nueva Andalucía remains the flagship feel.

Bottom line: if Nueva Andalucía is your patch, SPISA is your new “I’ll just pop in for one thing” that somehow turns into dinner, breakfast, and a bag of salty liquorice. Welcome to the neighbourhood. Spisa Foodmarket
